FEMALE FEEENZ!

They are FINALLY here, and I got me some! I perviously blogged about the VANS X HELL BELLZ kicks...and I can honestly say both joints are even better in person! Extra Butter; the source of the all the fun goodies is where these bad boys are found! I bought "The Hadley Zipper" which are a crisp black leather shoe boot style complete with hooks and zippers! They are hard as all hell! As tough as they are Alex @ Butter wears the "Sophie Strap" - a saddle shoe like style. Haha, not! They are strictly for the ladies....but if he could, the Sophie gets his vote! Eileen bagged these. The Sophie features buckles and cut outs, most defiantly right up E's alley....and we tend to like alleys! [inside hars!] Not only did I leave with dope kicks, I left with a parking ticket....Whomp Whomp I know. BUT, it's Okay. I walked it out in style! I have the bookstore babe to blame for that one ;]. No, I left also with RJD2's new album called "THE COLOSSUS." RJD2 first stole my heart back 2001, when he came out with Mix album "Your Face or Your Knee Caps" In 2003 he dropped albums and EP's "The Horror, Since We Last Spoke & Exotic Talk" I've been a fan ever since. I can actually remember going to record stores with my boyfriend at the time and pulling up these cd's, playing them in the headphones & 'diggin in tha crates' Yes, I have a cool pass on saying that...the boy was a DJ and used records for beats and samples! Literally everyday after school we'd hit up new record stores. We always had a car full of people and everyday they would complain that they had to take the ride to the music store with us...haha! We were such local at small town music stores that one dudes gave me the album cover to "Since we Last Spoke" I was torn though, MURS 3:16 was on the back! Grrr! So, i settled and changed it every month. Getting back on track, The Colossus is what I call a BIG YES! I love it. The beats are so...soulful and rich! If you are an RJD2 fan, you won't be let
down.

Cold Cheese pizza and graffiti

Lately, I've been running into people I haven't seen in ages, which is always fun. Last week I found Travis in town around 1:30 am, we shared beers and caught each other up till about 4 am. Today Travis and I met for Pizza...Little Vincent's of course! I got a slice with extra cold cheese added, oh god when it's fresh out of the oven, the extra cheese melts fast yet there is still some cold spots = perfection. Normally I order my signature; 2 slices, one plain and one with cold cheese. It's the perfect combination. I leave content with a full tummy but it a good way. My Love handles were mad they didn't get spoiled today but my new jeans were thankful. Any who we shot down to Special Sauce [ Side note- I'm sitting at my desk typing this and I glace over at a tag, which came off my Straight to Hellz jacket, it's the logo, a cracked bottle...but on it, is Special Sauce's price tag sticker, with an image that looks like this "§ SPECIAL SAUCE" it instantly reminded me of that stupid trick you can do if you hold the ALT button down on your keyboard and using the numbers on the side of your keyboard will create all those cool fonts and symbols...remember you use to always do them as a kid? Well, I did. But yee I was determined to find the double S looking one because that's what their price tag sticker made me think of.] My train of thought is always from left field. Sooooooo, with that said I fucked around with numbers on the side of my keyboard and...SUCCE§! Hars, get it?! Succe§..double S thingy?! MOVING ON....Travis and I went down to Special Sauce. Prior to walking into tha store, we both kind of said we've never been upstairs yet. In a matter of seconds, that all became a lie. We wound up seeing the upstairs of the shop. We saw what will soon be an Art Gallery and other goodies! It's current status is Under Construction...So Pete let Travis have at it and.....bomb! I took a few shots. Hate to break it to you Travis, but I got you on the internet, the aliens know where you're at! :) Now get a fucking Facebook!

I was on the Hellz Bellz blog and found this video of Lykke Li. One I have not seen before. This should show you why I am in love with her.



Next up is a video I've seen a million times but still remain finding a new set of feelings towards it.

I Love her accent, it's perfect. Her eyes - that stare in the beginning, so captivating. I love her tiny hands and the suttle and graceful movements. Lykke Li can sing the same song a million different ways, still carrying out her original style/sound and make me love each version, true talent. This crush is serious.

Friday morning, my cell goes off playing "The Roots"....on the other end was Nessa! "OMG! I Kick ass! hahaha, We got the new Hellz and Stussy and tassles and leggings and grommets Oh! My!" Soo, I went shopping. I'm convinced Nessa is the source of my HellzBellz addition. We played dress up. Nessa dressed me up in all the new items from Hellz Bellz "Style Warriors 09" Collection...my end all. Hellz says the collection is a "Drawing upon cross-cultural sophistication, and a diverse, Aztec-inspired color story, ‘Style Warriors’ truly embodies the aspirations of iconoclast women." The collection is serious, so many great pieces..funky as well! We threw pieces together, mixed and matched, 'yay-ed' & 'nay-ed', accessorized(sp?)..over all had a fun time! I ended up buy the Hellz Boyfriend Tee, inspired by the Elle Magazine. I absolutely love the cut of it, it can be worn off the shoulders and/or belted! I plain to wear it with a set of ripped thights and combat boots, something like how they featured it in their line. I also bought the most fabulous Hi-waisted leggings. They are pretty bonkers and demand attention. Last I bought a grommet vest from Stussy..I haven't found it on the website yet - but it's excellent! Some ladies feel "sexy" in nothing...a little black dress, or perhaps lingerie...for me...it's ANYTHING from HellzBellz. The fit is always just right, the graphics...on point & can be rocked several different ways. Hands down it's the best line for women.
