Spoken Wor(L)ds.

We reproduce catastrophe because we ourselves are traumatized – both as a species and individually, beginning at birth. Because we are wounded, we have put up psychic defences against reality and have become so cut off from direct participation in the multidimensional wilderness in which we are embedded that all we can do is to navigate our way cautiously through a humanly designed day-to-day substitute world of symbols - a world of dollars, minutes, numbers, images and words that are constantly being manipulated to wring the most possible profit from every conceivable circumstance. The body and spirit both rebel.

the west is the best.

I often feel as if I'm not cut out for this world/life. As shitty as that may sound...I honestly hate this modern world and what it stands for. When I think of all these radioactive waves wifi I want to vomit in disgust. We've enabled cancerous poisons travel through our everyday lives via mass meat production and being hell bent, better yet brainwashed by the media, mass appeal and fashion. Society is so comfortably out of tune. And yes, I am a victim of such...being into the fashion aspect of the world, keeping up to date with current events, following up on the media. (I have a strong hate/hold for how much I allow myself to follow the media) However, it's all too natural. I find it all apart of my normal routine and life. In fact I think we don't even realize it anymore...we've become accustom to the hype. It's all fools gold. If it were up to me...We'd live like the Indians. I want to be able to live off nature again. That is what life is. I want to be able to hunt and cook my own food. To salute the sun as it rises and sets, for it is a sense of living. I want to be in harmony with the flowers and trees and know i can take a deep breath and have natural synchronicity, with myself and loved ones. I hate the constant use of cell phones, social websites, iphones and ipods. Fuck me, I still use a walk-man. My point being, as much as I may be a contributor, I'm the least bit. I just honestly feel my spirit is corrupt here. I hate this life. I hate these people and their diseased souls. I want to be free of such things.

Indians scattered on dawn's highway bleeding

Ghosts crowd the young child's fragile eggshell mind.
Blood in the streets in the town of New Haven
Blood stains the roofs and the palm trees of Venice
Blood in my love in the terrible summer
Bloody red sun of Phantastic L.A.
Blood screams her brain as they chop off her fingers
Blood will be born in the birth if a nation
Blood is the rose of mysterious union
Blood on the rise, it's following me.
Indian, Indian what did you die for?
Indian says, nothing at all.

. nice with the hands .

Today, while I sat in class, a fellow student like myself....read my palms! She was an older lady, 42 she said. From Pakistan, with a thick accent and very knowledgeable. I could actually sit and listen to her speak for hours. When she talks to you, she shuts everything out and literally talks to you, it's quite nice. Unlike myself - I have 5 conversations within one and "have the attention span of a baby bird." Greg gore once said that to me. If you were to ask me this ladies name, I would probably look at you and give you the "fuck, did i just step in dog shit?!" look. I have no idea what it is, and it annoys me because she knows mine and makes me chuckle when she pronounces my name "Vish-toria." It's awesome. So I sat across the table from her, extended my right arm - She used the right hand beacuse it's said to displays your future or some spiritual shit like that. Well, she didn't say it like that, but you get me. So, now I'm looking at her, looking at me, looking at my palms - anxiously awaiting to hear the word. The outcome: not too shabby!

From my right hand, she was able to tell me a lot. She studied the curvature of the lines, my hands flexibility, shape and color. Even showed me which was a "heart line" and a "life line". Interesting! She told me, I'm a very memorable person, and GOOD person that is trust worthy. She also said I will be successful with the education and career I choose. Money, I would make a decent about to live comfortably and not struggle. She said it's not a big issues for me and I'm not "money hungry" She also mentioned I have a lot of focus in my relationships meaning that I am with it for life and am loyal - However, if things were to take a drastic turn for the worse, for example a divorce, she said it would be hard for me to find another "serious" relationship again. I'm also ''over confident'' and "stubborn"....HELLO ARIES! She saw I don't like doing household things and when I get angry I am angry! When I make a decision, it's final and normally most people can't talk me out of it, I make my own decisions. She then took my left hand, bent it, moved it and moved it again. She wasn't able to get a clear reading but she was able to make out I would have one child, from what she could see.

I'll take it! I really dig on this kind of stuff. I know it will never be right on point - in fact I see it more as a "guideline" and hey now, who doesn't need some gui(dance) dance dance just dance?!

Cold Cheese pizza and graffiti

Lately, I've been running into people I haven't seen in ages, which is always fun. Last week I found Travis in town around 1:30 am, we shared beers and caught each other up till about 4 am. Today Travis and I met for Pizza...Little Vincent's of course! I got a slice with extra cold cheese added, oh god when it's fresh out of the oven, the extra cheese melts fast yet there is still some cold spots = perfection. Normally I order my signature; 2 slices, one plain and one with cold cheese. It's the perfect combination. I leave content with a full tummy but it a good way. My Love handles were mad they didn't get spoiled today but my new jeans were thankful. Any who we shot down to Special Sauce [ Side note- I'm sitting at my desk typing this and I glace over at a tag, which came off my Straight to Hellz jacket, it's the logo, a cracked bottle...but on it, is Special Sauce's price tag sticker, with an image that looks like this "§ SPECIAL SAUCE" it instantly reminded me of that stupid trick you can do if you hold the ALT button down on your keyboard and using the numbers on the side of your keyboard will create all those cool fonts and symbols...remember you use to always do them as a kid? Well, I did. But yee I was determined to find the double S looking one because that's what their price tag sticker made me think of.] My train of thought is always from left field. Sooooooo, with that said I fucked around with numbers on the side of my keyboard and...SUCCE§! Hars, get it?! Succe§..double S thingy?! MOVING ON....Travis and I went down to Special Sauce. Prior to walking into tha store, we both kind of said we've never been upstairs yet. In a matter of seconds, that all became a lie. We wound up seeing the upstairs of the shop. We saw what will soon be an Art Gallery and other goodies! It's current status is Under Construction...So Pete let Travis have at it and.....bomb! I took a few shots. Hate to break it to you Travis, but I got you on the internet, the aliens know where you're at! :) Now get a fucking Facebook!

Also, this Friday November 13th - Special Sauce will being having an in store event featuring 5 artist! Come through, show love and respect!

The September Issue.

Considering it is fashion week, I decided to see "The September Issue." It's a documentary based upon Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and her team, ruling the world of fashion. The September Issue is an A&E indie flick, screening in smaller theaters. Anna Wintour is one of, Nah...is, the most recognized fashion icons. Anna was the inspiration behind them movie "The Devil Wears Prada." She is known as "Ice Woman" for her cold stares and cruel remarks. The short film captures her true to form. She is a beast! Creative director, Grace Coddington another genius behind Vogue, showed what its like working with Anna. Even though Grace, nicest of the two, with a soulful side to the somewhat superficial fashion industry. ...was still bad ass. Though, she took in Anna's demands and opinions, Grace agreed to disagree many times, even stepping on toes going against the beasts words. I'd vomit and die.

The Film provides a glimpse into a world many dream about but few see. Anna, owning & seeing every inch of it.

Mothergreen in time of need.

Our ancestors are calling on us to respond to what they describe as a time of awakening and great understanding. I, a follower and strong believer in the Mayan ways, have been reading up on "The Shift of the Ages"
Many cultures believe that we're in the process of shifting to a new Sun or a new World. Various stories and scriptures detail about these predictions.

The Shift of the Ages is a film project described as a step out of time which takes a look through the indigenous lens to focus on whats transpiring in the world today. It's a shamanic rite of passage and grassroots effort to raise awareness for Mother Earth in her time of need. It's more than just a movie - it's a movement.
