Alexander McQueen-less

The biggest whomp whomp.

British fashion designer Alexander McQueen has been found dead after taking his own life. Sources say he was found at his luxury flat in Green Park, central London. It is believed he hanged himself.

McQueen, 40 years old took his life just days before London's Fashion Week and weeks before he was due to unveil his new collection at Paris Fashion Week on March 9. His death was also just days after his mothers own death. It actually makes me sad that we lost such an impact on the Fashion lifestyle just beacuse his designs were iconic status. Poor GaGa is all I can think of! What is she gonna do?!

I often feel as if I'm not cut out for this world/life. As shitty as that may sound...I honestly hate this modern world and what it stands for. When I think of all these radioactive waves wifi I want to vomit in disgust. We've enabled cancerous poisons travel through our everyday lives via mass meat production and being hell bent, better yet brainwashed by the media, mass appeal and fashion. Society is so comfortably out of tune. And yes, I am a victim of such...being into the fashion aspect of the world, keeping up to date with current events, following up on the media. (I have a strong hate/hold for how much I allow myself to follow the media) However, it's all too natural. I find it all apart of my normal routine and life. In fact I think we don't even realize it anymore...we've become accustom to the hype. It's all fools gold. If it were up to me...We'd live like the Indians. I want to be able to live off nature again. That is what life is. I want to be able to hunt and cook my own food. To salute the sun as it rises and sets, for it is a sense of living. I want to be in harmony with the flowers and trees and know i can take a deep breath and have natural synchronicity, with myself and loved ones. I hate the constant use of cell phones, social websites, iphones and ipods. Fuck me, I still use a walk-man. My point being, as much as I may be a contributor, I'm the least bit. I just honestly feel my spirit is corrupt here. I hate this life. I hate these people and their diseased souls. I want to be free of such things.

They are FINALLY here, and I got me some! I perviously blogged about the VANS X HELL BELLZ kicks...and I can honestly say both joints are even better in person! Extra Butter; the source of the all the fun goodies is where these bad boys are found! I bought "The Hadley Zipper" which are a crisp black leather shoe boot style complete with hooks and zippers! They are hard as all hell! As tough as they are Alex @ Butter wears the "Sophie Strap" - a saddle shoe like style. Haha, not! They are strictly for the ladies....but if he could, the Sophie gets his vote! Eileen bagged these. The Sophie features buckles and cut outs, most defiantly right up E's alley....and we tend to like alleys! [inside hars!] Not only did I leave with dope kicks, I left with a parking ticket....Whomp Whomp I know. BUT, it's Okay. I walked it out in style! I have the bookstore babe to blame for that one ;]. No, I left also with RJD2's new album called "THE COLOSSUS." RJD2 first stole my heart back 2001, when he came out with Mix album "Your Face or Your Knee Caps" In 2003 he dropped albums and EP's "The Horror, Since We Last Spoke & Exotic Talk" I've been a fan ever since. I can actually remember going to record stores with my boyfriend at the time and pulling up these cd's, playing them in the headphones & 'diggin in tha crates' Yes, I have a cool pass on saying that...the boy was a DJ and used records for beats and samples! Literally everyday after school we'd hit up new record stores. We always had a car full of people and everyday they would complain that they had to take the ride to the music store with us...haha! We were such local at small town music stores that one dudes gave me the album cover to "Since we Last Spoke" I was torn though, MURS 3:16 was on the back! Grrr! So, i settled and changed it every month. Getting back on track, The Colossus is what I call a BIG YES! I love it. The beats are so...soulful and rich! If you are an RJD2 fan, you won't be let
down.

Now lets get it right, I normally don't care for Beyonce - in fact I find her quite annoying and thirsty for the lime light. Ever notice she's EVERYWHERE, even if it has nothing to do with her or Jay...? However, she is baaad in this video, she def kilt it and yes, kilt it is a word when you hang around M keez all day. I like Beyonce's persona in this video, she took it to tha streets kept it bad but mixed it with Gaga's style: no pants and crazy glasses. As always, I'm feelin' the fashion & Make-up. Yesterday, while I was sick in bed with the plague I decided to check out Lady Gaga's video for "Bad Romance". I've been a Gaga fan since day one, but Jesus fuck do I love her even more after seeing the video. It's absolutely bonkers. No one comes near half the shit she does or wears. In the video she rocks all of Alexander McQueen's Spring 2010 line, and i half to say - he too never seizes to amaze me & Gaga is the perfect candidate to wear his stuff. From the video I gathered her tweaking outfits and spreads she has done in the past. In the first clip of the video -when she's in white and recreating one of the outfits she wore for the VMA's reminds me of a Scene from "The Fifth Element" when they have Leeloo strapped down in that glass tube thingy. Both Ladies act up and have to be held down. Plus Gaga's hair looks a little orange like Leeloo. Next, she has Hello Kitty's eyes - she did a spread with Hello Kitty. When she makes her hands twitch and show her boney spine - mad freaky! THe diamond out and black lingerie is fresh as hellllllllll. Next up is when she has Saturn's rings around her. I posted a while back when she posed nude for V Mag displaying Saturn around her. Then the most bedazzled get up ever..stomping in a pair of McQueen's heels! My favorite though is the White Robe with a fuckin white bear train following behind. That's that shit in my foyer and she has it as a outfit...cliehest of hearts! I also love her make up in that scene and the fresh stunnuh shades. Last, she hits hard with a replica of her other VMA outfit - the red lace. And and anddddd the ending....what that shit is that?! I don't know why I would question it..it's Gaga for fucks sake. I love it - but she looks like Winehouse there...who I also openly love. Gaga is One of One.

Luckily, winter brings a good enough time gap to do all type of leg lunges, because this trend calls for toned legs! Designer's I mentioned above have all shown versions of panties-as-outerwear for Spring 2010. So don't throw away your lepoard leotard!

Friday morning, my cell goes off playing "The Roots"....on the other end was Nessa! "OMG! I Kick ass! hahaha, We got the new Hellz and Stussy and tassles and leggings and grommets Oh! My!" Soo, I went shopping. I'm convinced Nessa is the source of my HellzBellz addition. We played dress up. Nessa dressed me up in all the new items from Hellz Bellz "Style Warriors 09" Collection...my end all. Hellz says the collection is a "Drawing upon cross-cultural sophistication, and a diverse, Aztec-inspired color story, ‘Style Warriors’ truly embodies the aspirations of iconoclast women." The collection is serious, so many great pieces..funky as well! We threw pieces together, mixed and matched, 'yay-ed' & 'nay-ed', accessorized(sp?)..over all had a fun time! I ended up buy the Hellz Boyfriend Tee, inspired by the Elle Magazine. I absolutely love the cut of it, it can be worn off the shoulders and/or belted! I plain to wear it with a set of ripped thights and combat boots, something like how they featured it in their line. I also bought the most fabulous Hi-waisted leggings. They are pretty bonkers and demand attention. Last I bought a grommet vest from Stussy..I haven't found it on the website yet - but it's excellent! Some ladies feel "sexy" in nothing...a little black dress, or perhaps lingerie...for me...it's ANYTHING from HellzBellz. The fit is always just right, the graphics...on point & can be rocked several different ways. Hands down it's the best line for women.

The September Issue.

Considering it is fashion week, I decided to see "The September Issue." It's a documentary based upon Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and her team, ruling the world of fashion. The September Issue is an A&E indie flick, screening in smaller theaters. Anna Wintour is one of, Nah...is, the most recognized fashion icons. Anna was the inspiration behind them movie "The Devil Wears Prada." She is known as "Ice Woman" for her cold stares and cruel remarks. The short film captures her true to form. She is a beast! Creative director, Grace Coddington another genius behind Vogue, showed what its like working with Anna. Even though Grace, nicest of the two, with a soulful side to the somewhat superficial fashion industry. ...was still bad ass. Though, she took in Anna's demands and opinions, Grace agreed to disagree many times, even stepping on toes going against the beasts words. I'd vomit and die.

The Film provides a glimpse into a world many dream about but few see. Anna, owning & seeing every inch of it.

Supreme's fall/winter line just dropped in NY September 3rd, and it is STRONG! The collection consists of New era fitteds, hoodies, jackets, outerwear, endless tees...a collaboration with Disney, new decks, backpacks, beanies, suede footwear...all things needed to make this winter frosty! Even tho it's catered to men, I have a feeling, I will be belting some over sized T's and fitteds!

Shes choreographed Beyonce's "Ring the Alarm" and was Featured on Jay Z's album "Blue Print."
