I often drive late at night with close friends and go looking at houses. It might be one of my favorite things to do. We put on mellow jams, get the buddah rolled tight and shoes off. Almost always Kat will say "billy joel lives here...." and I die laughing beacuse it's everytime we pass his house, she says that. Today [yesterday] was my Birthday! It was a very chill birthday. I don't really get into B'days much anymore, nor do i like the attention...altho, it made me feel good to recieve birthday wishes from those in my life daily, those that are more distant and those that I have not much contact within the last few years. Just reminds me and makes me happy that these people I haven't spoken or seen in quite sometime are still in my life somehow and pick up where things left off.....easily. It makes me happy that I still am the same person I was to these people, that they still are around. It also made me realize just how much times are changing and how the whole 'facebook/interenet' shit really IS talking over. I mean, half the birthday wishes are sent from Facebook, and i'm not knockin anyone....It just made me not want to ever wish someone a birthday wish over the internet....which I have, but as of today...I won't anymore. A birthday is something personal....what's sad is that I never really thought twice anymore to pick up the phone and call them to say Happy Birthday....the natural move is FB or even Text. That buggs me. And is no longer going to be a career in my life. HOWEVER, I will pat myself on the back becuase I litereally THANKED all of those and even attached a little message. So hoot hoot for me! This all besides the point of my Birthday and Blog! But yeah, So Birthday = Chill. Even though I my FIRST AND ONLY speeding ticket! what tha shit...yeah i know. I was late for school and rushing so I suppose that was the logic behind me doing 85 in a 55. Regaurdless of that..everything was dope. Had the most BEAUTIFUL weather, yes.. you're welcome. Mom says my very first bday the weather was the same! For dinner, went to The Cheese Cake Factory. Came home...Mama made me a burrday cake that was tha yummiest! Brother got me a sick shirt and Discovery channels SHARK WEEK DVD! Amazing. Then off to Bee's garage! Where Bee, Her brother, Anthony and Myself had the most area rug of a garage late night session of all time! I've never laughed so hard. I can not believe....Midget dora, is not an actual midget dora and that her legs were in her COWSUIT the WHOLE TIME!!! !!!! !!!! !!  ! 1 ! !! 1! ! ! !!!!!!!!!! ! ! LIKE !!!!!! ! !! !  ! !!! ! They are FINALLY here, and I got me some! I perviously blogged about the VANS X HELL BELLZ kicks...and I can honestly say both joints are even better in person! Extra Butter; the source of the all the fun goodies is where these bad boys are found! I bought "The Hadley Zipper" which are a crisp black leather shoe boot style complete with hooks and zippers! They are hard as all hell! As tough as they are Alex @ Butter wears the "Sophie Strap" - a saddle shoe like style. Haha, not! They are strictly for the ladies....but if he could, the Sophie gets his vote! Eileen bagged these. The Sophie features buckles and cut outs, most defiantly right up E's alley....and we tend to like alleys! [inside hars!] Not only did I leave with dope kicks, I left with a parking ticket....Whomp Whomp I know. BUT, it's Okay. I walked it out in style! I have the bookstore babe to blame for that one ;]. No, I left also with RJD2's new album called "THE COLOSSUS." RJD2 first stole my heart back 2001, when he came out with Mix album "Your Face or Your Knee Caps" In 2003 he dropped albums and EP's "The Horror, Since We Last Spoke & Exotic Talk" I've been a fan ever since. I can actually remember going to record stores with my boyfriend at the time and pulling up these cd's, playing them in the headphones & 'diggin in tha crates' Yes, I have a cool pass on saying that...the boy was a DJ and used records for beats and samples! Literally everyday after school we'd hit up new record stores. We always had a car full of people and everyday they would complain that they had to take the ride to the music store with us...haha! We were such local at small town music stores that one dudes gave me the album cover to "Since we Last Spoke" I was torn though, MURS 3:16 was on the back! Grrr! So, i settled and changed it every month. Getting back on track, The Colossus is what I call a BIG YES! I love it. The beats are so...soulful and rich! If you are an RJD2 fan, you won't be let

Murs is tha man and Aesop, oh man he went in on tha beats. You see, every time Felt comes together to make an album, it is produced by another underground MC/producer. Watch tha pattern: The first Felt album was produced by The Grouch, fellow member of Living Legends along with members Murs & Slug. Cold Cheese pizza and graffiti

Lately, I've been running into people I haven't seen in ages, which is always fun. Last week I found Travis in town around 1:30 am, we shared beers and caught each other up till about 4 am. Today Travis and I met for Pizza...Little Vincent's of course! I got a slice with extra cold cheese added, oh god when it's fresh out of the oven, the extra cheese melts fast yet there is still some cold spots = perfection. Normally I order my signature; 2 slices, one plain and one with cold cheese. It's the perfect combination. I leave content with a full tummy but it a good way. My Love handles were mad they didn't get spoiled today but my new jeans were thankful. Any who we shot down to Special Sauce [ Side note- I'm sitting at my desk typing this and I glace over at a tag, which came off my Straight to Hellz jacket, it's the logo, a cracked bottle...but on it, is Special Sauce's price tag sticker, with an image that looks like this "§ SPECIAL SAUCE" it instantly reminded me of that stupid trick you can do if you hold the ALT button down on your keyboard and using the numbers on the side of your keyboard will create all those cool fonts and symbols...remember you use to always do them as a kid? Well, I did. But yee I was determined to find the double S looking one because that's what their price tag sticker made me think of.] My train of thought is always from left field. Sooooooo, with that said I fucked around with numbers on the side of my keyboard and...SUCCE§! Hars, get it?! Succe§..double S thingy?! MOVING ON....Travis and I went down to Special Sauce. Prior to walking into tha store, we both kind of said we've never been upstairs yet. In a matter of seconds, that all became a lie. We wound up seeing the upstairs of the shop. We saw what will soon be an Art Gallery and other goodies! It's current status is Under Construction...So Pete let Travis have at it and.....bomb! I took a few shots. Hate to break it to you Travis, but I got you on the internet, the aliens know where you're at! :) Now get a fucking Facebook!
